Copyright notices
Highland Park Electric Co, Inc. operates Final Frame. If you own a copyright and believe something on Final Frame infringes it, tell us and we will act on it.
Send a notice
Email hello@finalframe.cc with the subject “Copyright notice”. Under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3) a notice includes:
- your physical or electronic signature, or that of someone authorised to act for the owner;
- the work you say is infringed;
- the address of the material you say infringes it, specific enough for us to find it;
- your name, postal address, telephone number and email address;
- a statement that you believe in good faith that the use is not authorised by the owner, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorised to act for the owner.
What we do
We remove or disable the material promptly, tell the person who posted it, and keep a record of the notice and what we did. A notice that does not carry the items above may not be enough for us to act on, and we will say what is missing.
Answer a notice
If we removed your material and you believe that was a mistake, email hello@finalframe.cc with the subject “Counter-notice”. Include your signature, the material and where it appeared before it was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that you believe in good faith it was removed by mistake or misidentification, and your name, address and telephone number, with a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address and will accept service from the person who sent the notice. We send your counter-notice to them, and unless they tell us within ten business days that they have filed a court action, we restore the material in not less than ten and not more than fourteen business days.
Repeat infringers
We end the accounts of people who are repeatedly the subject of valid notices.
Reference
The Reference pages show measurements of how end credits are set, drawings Final Frame makes from them, and a few stills of the credits for study. If you hold the rights to a title, or designed its titles, and want its stills taken down or shown as drawings only, use the same address and name the title. No formal notice is needed for that; we take it down.
